Graveside services and burial for Maurice Creighton, a native of Daviess County, were held Wednesday, July 3, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Macon, Ga.
Maurice Hatton Creighton, Macon, Ga., died Sunday, June 30, 2002, at a health care center in Macon, Ga.
Mr. Creighton was born in Daviess County on Aug. 2, 1929. He was a 1947 graduate of Coffey high school.
Mr. Creighton joined the Air Force in 1948 and served overseas in Korea.
He was retired from Robins Air Force Base as an aircraft maintenance scheduler.
Mr. Creighton was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church, Macon, Ga.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia C.; one daughter Beverly Stewart; one son, Michael; one sister Marian E. Creighton, Shannondoah, Iowa; and three grandchildren.
