Funeral services for Lowell Teel were held Sunday at the Pattonsburg Christian Church. Burial was at McFall Cemetery, with Masonic rites by Western Star Lodge No. 15, A.F. & A.M., Winston. Arrangements were by Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg. Memorials may be made
to the Christian Church, Pattonsburg.
Lowell Teel, 84, Pattonsburg, died Thursday, July 11, 2002.
Mr. Teel was born on May 29, 1918, in McFall.
He was a farmer and business owner.
Mr. Teel was a member of Western Star Lodge No. 15, A.F. & A.M., Winston; Pattonsburg and McFall Lions Clubs and Pattonsburg Christian Church.
On Jan. 26, 1938, he married Geraldine Gardner. She preceded him in death Dec. 13, 1973.
He also was preceded in death by his parents, James and Gertrude (Deering) Teel; two brothers, an infant and Donald; son, J.C. Teel; granddaughter, Kirby Kay Teel; and son-in-law, John R. Daniel.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Meek, Cameron; three sons, Jack of Cameron, Bob of Gladstone, Randy of Liberty, and Greg of Pattonsburg; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
