Carroll
The descendants of Madison (Matt) Taylor and Ada (Hutcherson) Carroll, former residents of the Coffey-Jameson area, met for a carry-in dinner at Dockery Park in Gallatin on Sunday, June 23.
Those attending the annual reunion were: Ellen Clark and Christine Cox, Cameron; David Cox, Hamilton; Bob and Pauline Carroll, Raymore; John and Sherl Carroll, Kansas City; Phillip, Josh and Abbey Carroll, Lamar; Paul Carroll, Gallatin; Betty Carroll, Coffey; Jerry and Charles McCrary, Richard and Marcella Summers, Macon; Matt, Sarah and Garrett Clark, Jamesport; Robert, Megan, Zachery and Chandler Asher, Gallatin.
Taul
The second bi-annual Taul family reunion was held Saturday, June 15, at Wallace State Park, near Cameron. Ninety-one family members arrived by noon for a carry-in dinner, organized by Gretchen Stephens and Jessie Couchman. After introductions, the following were awarded prizes: icebreaker game – Serena Howard and Dixie Knox; oldest living Taul – Milton Parker Taul, Jr., 91, followed closely by Hibbard Taul, 88; youngest Taul in attendance – Channon Taul, six months; family traveling the furthest – Milton Parker Taul, Jr. and his family drove over 650 miles; and the largest family in attendance belonged to Jessie Couchman with 21.
Families in attendance arrived from Colorado, Iowa, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas and Missouri. Members posed for family photos and shared compiled family tree information. The next Taul reunion will b held the second Saturday in June 2004 at Wallace State Park.

Bruner
The annual Bruner reunion was held at The Barn Bed and Breakfast Inn in Valley Falls, Kan., June 21-22. Those attending were Lee and Vivian Bruner, daughter Penny, Willard, and daughter Lori Lawrence, Springfield; and Michael and Meryl Bruner en route to their new home in Tucker, Ga.;
