Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Uthe of Winston wish to announce the engagement of their son, Clayton D. Uthe, to Melinda Lee Monnig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Schaefer and Julius Monnig of Fayette. Clayton is a 1994 graduate of Winston High School and a 1998 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is employed by MFA Oil Company as an area manager in Springfield. Melinda is a 1994 graduate of Fayette High School and a 2000 graduate of Northwest Missouri State University-Maryville. She is employed by Woodrail Medical Centre in Columbia, as a dental assistant.
