Funeral services for Lucille M. Gray, a former resident of Lake Viking, were held Friday at Meierhoffer Family Chapel. Interment was at Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph. Arrangements were by Meierhoffer Family Funeral Service. The Family suggests memorial gifts to The Alzheimer”s Association.
Mrs. Lucille Margaret Gray, 79, St. Joseph, died Monday, June 10, 2002, at her home.
Mrs. Gray, a homemaker, was born December 30, 1922, in Manhattan, Kan. She attended both Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan., and Kansas University in Lawrence, Kan. She lived in Solomon, Kan., and after retirement lived in Rogers, Ark., and Lake Viking in Gallatin before moving to St. Joseph three years ago.
On March 12, 1946 she married Joseph Gray. He survives of the home.
Mrs. Gray attended the Wyatt Park Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Dean Drown.
Other survivors include three daughters, Jane Cathcart of St. Joseph, Becky Kruger of Overland Park, Kan., and Barbara Parks of Ellsworth, Kan.; one son, Damon Gray of Bellingham, Wash.; and 14 grandchildren.
