A Hamilton woman received minor injuries in an accident in Daviess County.

The accident occurred as Marla Quinn, 28, was northbound on Hwy. 13 about two miles south of Gallatin at about 10:50 a.m. on June 18.

She drove across the southbound lane into a ditch hitting a mail box. She then continued northbound in the ditch striking an embankment and turning the car 180 degrees. The car came to rest in a ditch facing south.

Mrs. Quinn was taken by Daviess County Ambulance to Cameron Hospital.

The 1991 Pontiac received minor damage and was towed by M and M Tow of Hamilton.

The accident was investigated by Tpr. J.P Lynch, assisted by Sgt. J.F. Thompson, the Daviess County Sheriff, Daviess Fire and Rescue.

Mrs. Quinn received a summons for failure to maintain right half of roadway and no seatbelt.
