Kevin Heldenbrand, sheriff, met with the commission concerning the effects of the increasing prisoner board costs on his budget.
David Tolen reported having attended the Workforce Investment Board meeting June 4 in Trenton. Also, he and Reta Rains attended the District H Local Emergency Planning meeting in Albany on June 5.
Due to schedule conflicts, the last meeting of the month has been set for June 26.
Sherry Bridgeman, Altamont, met with the commission with questions regarding the statutes for the closing of alleys. She was given copies of the necessary statutes and a petition for the vacation of a road.
Mike Waterbury, Marion Township, met with the commission concerning a bridge in Grand River Township scheduled for replacement with a metal pipe.
The commission received the executed copy of the annual child support enforcement agreement.
The commission completed a state bridge survey for Green Hills Regional Planning Commission.
Personal delinquent tax valuations in the amount of $33,180 were added to the tax list.
The clerk reported that on June 7, Bently Trucking had contacted her office and reported that they had never been paid by Missouri Bridge and Concrete for work subcontracted on BRO project (20) over Clear Creek. The bonding company has not responded to their calls.
Dana Urton, Health Department Administrator, contacted the commission reporting warranty problems with air conditioning and a doorway. The commission contacted Gallatin Industrial Development Authority to report the problems to the contractor.
