Dr. Greg Frost, superintendent of the Bowling Green School District, flew to Washington D.C. last Thursday, May 16, to attend a meeting with U.S. Secretary of Education Paige.
There were 26 educational leaders comprised of state education commissioners and school superintendents from across the nation who served on a roundtable discussion of specific points of HR1 “No Child Left Behind Act of 2001” education bill.
They were asked to attend the meeting to give their input on how to mold and make the education bill livable and workable.
Dr. Frost was asked to attend this meeting and be an AASA representative by the American Association of School Administrators Executive Director Gary Sharp.
Greg is the son of Duane and Ruth Frost and grandson of Irene Frost and Clara Macrander of Gallatin.
