Funeral services for Russell Hill, maternal grandson of Imogene Southers of Jamesport, were held May 2 at the Lawson High School Performing Arts Center, Lawson. Burial was in Lawson Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Polley Funeral Home Lawson Chapel, 412 N. Raum.
Russell Allen “Rusty” Hill, 41, Rayville, died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at his home.
Mr. Hill, a carpenter, was born in Excelsior Springs. He graduated from Lawson High School, Class of 1979.
He served in the Marine Crops, where he was stationed in Oceanside, Calif., as an artillery instructor.
Mr. Hill was a member of Local Union #938 and the Church of Christ, Richmond.
On June 17, 1981, he married Kimberly Ann Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Kim; his children, Chris, David and Elizabeth “Lacy,” all of the home; his parents, Larry and Barbara Hill of Lawson; two sisters, Teresa Delano of Excelsior Springs, and Denise Frank of Liberty.
