Access II Independent Living Center has scheduled a free mini-workshop conducted by The Missouri Model Spinal Cord Injury System (MOMSCIS) on May 17. Join Dr. Michael Acuff, M.D., for a day of learning about pressure sore identification, wound care, rehabilitation practices, urinary tract infections, general health, nutrition, and attendant care.
Individuals with spinal cord injuries, spinal cord dysfunction, or individuals with a disability that requires use of a wheelchair, health professionals and personal care attendants are welcome to participate in this mini-workshop.
