New trooper now assigned to Gallatin

Captain Johnnie B. Hoggatt, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces the assignment of a newly appointed trooper, John D. Klapmeyer. Trooper Klapmeyer is part of the Patrol’s 79th Recruit Class which began on Oct. 16.

Trooper John D. Klapmeyer, 22, has been assigned to Zone 10 in Gallatin. He is a graduate of Willow Springs High School and holds a B.S. degree from Missouri Valley College in Marshall.

The 79th Recruit Class graduated from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy on April 20. The new troopers will report for duty on May 6.
