Daviess County Library is offering three computer classes
The Daviess County Library is offering three computer classes in April. At 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, is “Create a Word Document.” Due to the popular response to this class it is being offered a second time. In this class participants will create a simple word document. They will learn how to cut and paste, copy, change fonts, color, print, save, and other basic skills used to create a word document.
At 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, the lab will host a class on “Browse the Internet.” This class is for those who have had very little or no Internet experience. The only prerequisite is that the enrollees must be able to control a mouse.
At 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 27, a second session of “Browse the Internet” will be offered. This class will go beyond the very basic steps of Internet searching. This class is for those who have completed the first course of Internet searching.
All classes are held in the new computer lab at the Daviess County Library. All classes are taught by Jan, Johnson, library director. There is no fee for these classes, but class size is limited to ten participants. Call us at 663-3222 or come by the library to sign up for these classes.
