Cub Scout Pack 67 and Boy Scout Troop 67 of Gallatin hosted the annual Crossed Arrows District dinner Saturday night. Adult scout leaders from across the district gathered for dinner, entertainment and awards at the Christian Church Fellowship Hall. Gallatin merchants and organizations generously provided door prizes for the event, which was attended by leaders from Winston, Gallatin, Maysville, Cameron, Plattsburg, Lathrop, Hamilton, Stewartsville and Braymer Terry Clark of Maysville and Chuck Adamson of Cameron were awarded the District Award of Merit, the highest award presented on a district level for distinguished service to Boy Scouts. The color guard for the evening were local Cub and Boy Scouts. Local Scouters, Mike and Linda Arnold, provided the evening entertainment with a musical history of Boy Scouting.
