Funeral services for Lenn Reno were held Saturday, March 23, at McWilliams Family Funeral Home in Gallatin. Burial was at Civil Bend Christian Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Lenn Reno memorial fund for Parkinsons disease in care of the funeral home.

Lenn Haver Reno, 82, Gallatin, died Tuesday, March 19, 2002, at the Daviess County Care Center in Gallatin.

Mr. Reno was born in Civil Bend. He graduated from Civil Bend High School.

On June 30, 1940, he married Marjorie Keplar in Pattonsburg. They owned and operated a general store for five years in Civil Bend and then moved to Altamont where they farmed for 50 years. They moved to Gallatin in 1994. While farming Lenn also worked at Wal-Mart, Lake Viking and IGA.

Mr. Reno served on the board of Farmers Mutual Insurance for 39 years. He was a charter member of the Winston Lions Club and served on the Winston school board for 16 years. He was a lifelong member of the Civil Bend Methodist Church.

Mr. Reno was preceded in death by two brothers, Ross and Dale.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Marjorie, of the home; two daughters, Judy Hiley, Altamont, and Janice Galbreath, Beverly, Mass.; one brother, Dean of Cameron; and one sister, Donna Lee, Bridge City, Texas; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
