Pattonsburg Volunteer Firefighters received a total of seven calls this past weekend. Saturday grass fire at 178th and Jordan Avenue; grass fire on D Highway (DeKalb County) requested DeKalb Central for mutual aid; grass fire/structure fire on Forest Avenue.
Sunday grass fire on T Highway east of McFall; barn fire on PP Highway; grass fire on Z Highway west of old town; trees on fire back at barn fire.
Pattonsburg Rescue & Fire Protection District has received a total of 38 calls from Jan. 1-March 27. The calls were a combination of fire and medical calls.
