Funeral services for Roxie Green were held Saturday at McWilliams Family Funeral Home in Gallatin. Burial was in Creekmore Cemetery, Gallatin.
Roxie McDonald Green, 86, Gallatin, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at the John Knox Care Center, Lee’s Summit.
Mrs. Green was born in Curryville. She graduated from Shelbina High School.
While in Gallatin, Mrs. Green worked as a telephone operator during the time when a switchboard was used to forward calls. In 1956, she began work at the D.H. Davis Drug Co., retiring in 1976.
Mrs. Green was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gallatin.
In 1940 she married James Kober and they moved to Gallatin. He died in 1973. In 1976 she married Duane Wilson. He died in 1986. In 1991, she married Jim Green. He died in 1999.
She was also preceded in death by two infant sons; a brother, Marion Davis; and a sister, Helen Reynolds.
Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn House, Oak Grove; one brother, J.D. Davis, Shelbina; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
