Stockham Community Church in Stockham, Neb., was the setting for the Aug. 11, 2001, wedding of Stephanie Gail Kliewer and Aaron Jon Mason. Rev. Paul Nauman officiated.

Parents of the couple are Marlin and Mickey Kliewer of Stockham and Randy and Cindy Mason of Pattonsburg.

The candles were lit by Whitney Mason, sister of the groom, and Rachel Holl, cousin of the bride.

The bride wore a strapless gown with a Venice lace overlay on a fitted organza bodice embellished with white pearls and crystal sequins. The dress had a natural waistline with a floor-length full skirt overlaid with multiple layers of tulle decorated with lace medallions and pearl and crystal sequins. The cathedral length train was embellished with pearls and sequins along with lace overlays. The shoulder-length veil had crystal stones among the multi layers of tulle which hung from a princess tiara.

The maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Amanda Goertzen. The bridesmaids were the bride’s sisters, Rebecca Lundstedt and Sarah Cerny with her cousin, Kerry Slaymaker.

The bridesmaids wore pale pink gowns with lace covered bodices and sleeves. The dresses had empire waistlines, princess necklines and full Georgette skirts accented with three rosettes at the back waistline.

The flower girl was the groom’s cousin, Morgan Prather. Daniel Lundstedt, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.

The best man was the groom’s brother, Tyler Mason. The groomsmen were Derrick Iddings, Shane Gillenwater and Howard Bailey. The ushers were Derek Weller and Chad Tessman, the bride’s cousin.

Special guests were the couple’s grandparents, Veda Heldenbrand of Winston, and Kenneth and Mary Mason of Pattonsburg.

The bride’s personal attendant was Monica Meier of Aurora. Leslie Mason of Pattonsburg, was at the guest book.

A reception was hosted at the Ag Auditorium at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Aurora.

Hosts were Doug and Olene Tessman of Stockham, aunt and uncle of the bride, and Dave and Christy Prather of Gallatin, aunt and uncle of the groom.

The serving table featured a five-layered white cake, flanked by three satellite cakes, decorated with ivy and daisies on top and sides.

The cake servers were Linette Jones of Holdrege and Carol Holl of Kearney. Cheryl Kliewer of Lincoln served the punch; Vivian Kliewer of Stockham served coffee.

The bride is a student at Northwest Missouri Sate University in Maryville, majoring in business management with an emphasis in finance.

The groom is attending Northwest Missouri State University, majoring in agricultural science.

After a wedding trip to Tennessee, the couple live in Maryville.
