Daviess County has now been designated as one of the counties in the disaster area for the recent winter storm, according to Orlin Braddy, a representative of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Mr. Braddy attended Tuesday’s meeting of the Daviess County Commission to notify them of the designation. To apply for disaster assistance, call toll-free 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).
