If you are receiving an income tax refund this season, there is a box you can check to designate a part of your refund for Missouri’s military veterans.

Long after the fighting has stopped, the men and women of America’s armed forces have needs to be met. By designating a part of your tax refund for the military veterans, you can help ensure that those needs are met.

Your gift will be used to enhance programs that are already funded by the Missouri Veteran’s Trust Fund. The fund is used to operate veteran’s homes and to provide better training for service officers. This is a great opportunity for each of us to assist those who have valiantly fought for our freedom.

The veterans tax check off is an easy way to support Missouri veterans. It takes no time at all, and it is a great way to show local heroes that Missouri cares about them.

If you are not receiving a refund check and would still like to contribute to the veterans fund, send your contribution to: Missouri Veterans Trust Fund, P.O. Drawer 147, Jefferson City, 65102- 0147.
