Varsity Basketball Tournament,
A total of 5 schools will participate in the Gallatin Junior
Varsity Basketball Tournament, which tips off a week from Thursday.
Gallatin, Smithville, Hamilton and Trenton make up the girls
bracket while Gallatin, South Harrison, Hamilton and Trenton will
vie in the boys division.
The tournament begins Jan. 17 with a 4:45 p.m. girls contest
between Hamilton and Trenton, followed by a boys contest between
Hamilton and Trenton. The opening night wraps up with Gallatin’s
girls against Smithville at 7:15 and Gallatin’s boys vs. South
Harrison at 8:30.
Consolation games will be played Saturday at 10 a.m. (girls) and
11:15 (boys). The girls title game is slated for 12:30 p.m.,
followed by the boys championship game at 1:45.
