Sharon Groves graduated from Drury University on December 15, 2001, with a B.S. degree in elementary education. The 1969 Gallatin High School graduate was nominated to Who’s Who in American Colleges two different years. She is also a member of the Drury chapter of MSTA.

Mrs. Groves graduated with a 4.0 grade average. She has been hired as the Special Education teacher of Oak Hill R-1 Elementary School in Salem, Missouri.

Mrs. Goves’ son Daniel Groves graduated Cum Laude from the University of Missouri on December 16, 2001. He graduated with a B.S. degree from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. During his time at MU, Daniel received the Bright Flight Scholarship;

Curators Scholar; Dean’s List honors; Freshman Achievement Award in Chemistry; and Andrew W. and Cecelia Ann Roth Scholarship. He was also a member of the Golden Key Honor Society.

This was a big weekend for the Groves family!

Daniel’s parents are David and Sharon Groves, Salem. His grandparents are Virgil and Betty Peters, Gallatin, and Donald and Marjorie Groves, Cameron.
