Funeral services for Juanita Stark were held at 2:30 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. Burial is at Civil Bend Christian Cemetery in Pattonsburg. Family visitation is

Juanita Stark, 94, Gallatin, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, at a Gallatin health-care center.

Born in Daviess County, Mrs. Stark received her teaching certificate from the Palmer College, Albany.

Mrs. Stark taught private kindergarten in Gallatin.

She was a member of the First Christian Church, Gallatin; the YWCA; and the Gallatin Garden Club.

She was married to Bertram Stark. He preceded her in death in 1980.

Mrs. Stark was also preceded in death by a son, Jay D. Stark; and a brother, John D. Breeden.

Survivors include three sons, David B. Stark, Gallatin, William H. Stark, Macon, and Col. Allen L. Stark, New Bloomfield; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
