Funeral services for Michael Eads, formerly of Gallatin, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at McWilliams Family Funeral Home, Inc., Hope Chapel, Gallatin. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gallatin. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call between 1 a.m. and 6 p.m. today (Wednesday) and after 9 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home, 201 South Market St.

Michael Lee Eads, 45, Humansville, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2001, at his residence.

Mr. Eads was born in Cameron. He graduated from the Jameson High School, and the Electrician Trade School in Chillicothe.

Mr. Eads worked as a chef for the C.A. Smith Restaurant Co., Collins. Before that, he worked for the Landmark Company in Gallatin.

In 1981, he married Victoria Sharrah in Miami, Okla. The marriage ended in divorce. He married Janie Turner in 1983, and that marriage also ended in divorce.

On June 23, 1996, he married Debra Seddon. She survives of the home.

Mr. Eads was preceded in death by his father and mother, Grover Lee and Dorothy Eileen (Moulin) Eads, a brother, Grover E. Eads; his maternal grandparents, John and Eunice Moulin; and his paternal grandparents, Lee and Blanche Eads.

Other survivors include a son, Christopher M. Minturn, Harrisonville; two daughters, Michelle Leigh and Melissa L. Eads, both of Wathena, Kan.; two stepdaughters, Yolanda Frazier, Osage Beach, and Monique Sharp, Sherman, Ill.; two sisters, Judy Burns and Deena Hendricks, both of Gallatin; a grandchild; and two stepgrandchildren.
