Funeral services for Lula Clowers were held Saturday at McWilliams Family Funeral Home in Gallatin. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery, Gallatin. Memorials may be made to the building fund of her church in care of the funeral home, 1329 W. Grand Ave., Gallatin, 64640.

Lulu Margaret (Colwell) Clowers, 87, Gallatin, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001, at the Cameron hospital.

Mrs. Clowers was born in Great Falls, Mont. She moved to Corona, Calif. in 1926, where she was reared and graduated from high school.

Mrs. Clowers worked in the office of the Corona, Calif., high school and as a cashier at the Gallatin Sale Barn.

Mrs. Clowers was a member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Muddy Creek Ramblers and Friday Night Flappers, all of Gallatin.

In 1933, she married Cecil C. Clowers in Pasadena, Calif. They lived in Corona before moving to Gallatin in 1970. He is deceased.

Mrs. Clowers also was preceded in death by three daughters, Loulla M. and Marjorie A. Clowers, and Beverly J. Bradshaw; a son, Jack C.; and two brothers, Johnnie and Kenneth Colwell.

Survivors include a sister, Racheal Burrous, Pueblo, Colo.; five grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
