Ralph and Ruth (Dix) Hornsby of St. Joseph, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception form 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30, at Wyatt Park Christian Church, 2623 Mitchell Ave., St. Joseph. Friends and relatives are invited.
The couple were married Dec. 26, 1951, at the First Christian Church in Trenton. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force and retired in 1992 from 37 years of employment with Walnut Grove Products and Cargil Inc. She retired form Cameron Mutual Insurance Companies.
They are the parents of three children, Creeth Hawks, Broken Bow, Neb.; Kyle (Kip), St. Joseph; and Lonnie, Garland, Texas. They have seven grandchildren and three step grandchildren.
