Graveside service and burial for Glen Baldwin, a native of Winston, were held Monday at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Ravenwood. Military Rites were given by Missouri Military Honors. Arrangements were by Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Glen Wayne Baldwin, 80, Ravenwood, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, at a Kansas City hospital.
Mr. Baldwin was a self-employed milk hauler. He also worked at Everready Battery Plant before retiring.
Mr. Baldwin was born in Winston.
During World War II, he served in the Army at Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes Central Europe and Rhineland.
He was a member of the Ravenwood Christian Church and the Curry-Richardson-Sparks- Waldeier American Legion Post No. 528, Parnell.
On Aug. 5, 1960, he married Bonnie A. Pickering in Stanberry. She survives of the home.
Mr. Baldwin was preceded in death by four brothers, Mervin, Melvin, Vernon and Frank Baldwin.
Other survivors include four sons, David and Chris Baldwin, Ravenwood, Glen D. Baldwin, McFall, and Daniel Baldwin, Mechanicburg, Pa.; a daughter, Julie Baldwin, Rensen, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 greatgrandchildren.
