Funeral services for Deborah Coleman, a former teacher at Jameson, were held Monday at Breit & Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Burial was at Savannah Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 500 E. Pawnee, Savannah, 64485.

Deborah S. Coleman, 42, Savannah, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, in a Kansas City hospital.

Mrs. Coleman was also a teacher in Martinsville and Cainesville.

Born in Cameron, she was raised in Savannah and lived in Bethany, from 1985 until 1999, when she returned to Savannah. She graduated from Savannah High School and from Missouri Western State College, St. Joseph, with her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Learning Disabilities.

Mrs. Coleman was a member of the First Baptist Church in Savannah.

On June 7, 1986, she married David K. Coleman in Savannah. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Gerald, of the home; and a daughter, Devan M. Coleman, of the home; her parents, Donald G. and Barbara J. Wagner, Savannah; a brother, Stewart A. Wagner, Savannah; a sister, Michelle D. Roberts, Savannah; and a maternal grandfather, Harry Cowen, Rapid City, S.D.
