The City of Gallatin has lifted the precautionary boil order in effect for a small portion of Gallatin.
The boil order was previously issued on Dec. 4 in order to perform repairs to a water main along James Road. Effected residents included those who live along James Road, Mill Street east of Prospect Street, North Searcy Street, and two residences on Prairie Avenue.
The results of water samples following the repairs were analyzed at a certified lab and have tested safe for consumption. The City appreciates our customers’ patience and understanding while the repairs were bing completed and while the boil order was in effect.
