Funeral services for Ica Terry will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Chillicothe. Visitation is from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. today (Wednesday) and 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday). Memorials may be made to the Amercian Cancer Society in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, 64601.

Ica “Naomi” (Grimes) Bailey Terry, 77, Springfield, formerly of Wheeling, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at a hospital in Springfield.

Born in Daviess County, Mrs. Terry was a graduate of the Lock Springs high school. She had resided in Livingston County prior to moving to Springfield six years ago.

Mrs. Terry was a member of the Walnut Lawn Church of Christ, Springfield; Flying Farmers Association and Flying Cessna Club. She also had been a foster parent through the State Training School for Girls in Chillicothe.

On May 28, 1949, she married Alonzo N. Bailey in Brookfield. He died in 1993. Then she married Gilbert L. Terry in Springfield. He survives of the home.

Mrs. Terry also was preceded in death by a grandchild.

Other survivors include three sons, David Bailey, Wheeling, Dennis Bailey, Springfield, and Gerald Bailey, Griffin, Ga.; a daughter, Mary Hager, Springfield; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
