Carol Hester, Gallatin, had major back/spine surgery on Nov. 1 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Shawnee Mission, Kan. She was dismissed Nov. 5 and is recovering at home. Carol would appreciate hearing from friends.
Nancy Houghton Reys, 4420 Maxwell, St. Joseph, had open heart surgery on Nov. 14. She is recovering at home. Lorraine Houghton, Lakeland, Fla, is visiting in St. Joseph to help her daughter, Nancy, in her recovery.
