Edna E. (Green) Schoonover, 87, Cameron, formerly of Altamont and North Kansas City, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at a Cameron hospital.

Funeral services for Edna Schoonover were held Monday at the United Methodist Church in Altamont. Burial was at Mount Ayr Cemetery in Altamont. Memorials may be made to the Altamont United Methodist Church, in care of the funeral home, 1329 W. Grand, Gallatin, 64640. Arrangements were by McWilliams Family Funeral Home, Gallatin.
Edna E. (Green) Schoonover, 87, Cameron, formerly of Altamont and North Kansas City, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at a Cameron hospital.
Mrs. Schoonover was raised in the Avondale and North Kansas City areas.
She was a production line worker for Corn Products in North Kansas City for more than 47 years, until retiring in 1968. She was also a homemaker and farmer’s wife.
Mrs. Schoonover was a member of the Altamont United Methodist Church.
On Jan. 11, 1964, she married Truman W. Schoonover in Chillicothe. He preceded her in death in 1999.
Mrs. Schoonover was also preceded in death by two brothers, Woodrow and Eugene; and an infant sister, Charlotte.
Survivors include a nephew, Steve Green, Santa Fe, N.M.; and cousins.
