Daniel Lynn, bridge foreman, and James Lewis, foreman, met with the commission reporting that construction projects were complete and they will begin tube replacement this week.
The commissioners reported that they had inspected brush and low water crossing problems in Jefferson Township last week.
The commission reviewed the monthly treasurer’s report.
Randy Eads, Washington Township, met with the commission regarding drainage problems. Daniel Lynn had measured one area, finding that the culvert is adequate to drain 1,475 acres, and the area was somewhat smaller than that.
Notice was received from Limpus Quarries of their application to the Department of Natural Resources for a license to mine approximately 253 acres in Section 8, Range 59N, Township 27W through December 2011.
In the afternoon, the commissioners inspected roads and culverts in Washington Township, finding the need to move one culvert several feet due to a change in the drainage and the metal pipe no longer accommodates the water.
