Funeral services for Marshall Grove were held Saturday at McWilliams Family Funeral Home in Gallatin. Burial was at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gallatin. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home, 201 S. Market, Gallatin, 64640.
Marshall Allen Grove, 76, Gallatin, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2001, at a Kansas City hospital.
Mr. Grove was born on a farm south of Gallatin and was reared in the area. He was a graduate of the Gallatin high school.
Mr. Grove was a farmer in Daviess County all his adult life and also raised Angus and Hereford cattle.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Mr. Grove was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gallatin.
In December of 1958, he married Carol M. Wickizer in Jefferson City. She died in 1992.
Survivors include two sisters, Norma Snodgrass, Lee’s Summit, and Marilyn Eaton, Hayward, Calif.
