Graveside service and burial for Florence Boring were held Saturday at Winston Cemetery. Arrangements were by McWilliams Family Funeral Home, Gallatin.
Florence G. (Heldenbrand) Boring, 75, Gallatin, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, at a health-care center in Gallatin.
Born in Kidder, Mrs. Boring attended Lone Star and Prairie Hall Country Schools and was a 1944 graduate of the Winston High School.
Mrs. Boring worked at the First National Bank in Kansas City after high school graduation. On Oct. 9, 1955, she married Abner Boring. After retiring, they moved to Winston. He died in 1975.
Mrs. Boring also was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Robert Heldenbrand; and a sister, Linda M.
Survivors include a son, Larry, Wyoming, Iowa; three brothers, Reuben Heldenbrand, Gallatin, Loren Heldenbrand, Kidder, and Gerald Heldenbrand, Winston; five sisters, Letha Fisher, Kansas City, Shirley Dela Cruz, Austin, Texas, Bertha Steele, Lithonia, Ga., Virginia Vestal, Odessa, and Frances Mazzucca, Gallatin; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
