According to Pam Cooksey, executive assistant, one person was available to offer mental health services in Daviess County for half a day a week. There was not enough clientele to make keeping the office open financially feasible.

Mental Health offices are presently available in Hamilton, Bethany, and Chillicothe. The main office is in Trenton. There area also offices in Unionville and Brookfield.

The mental health service has been offered off and on for 27 years in Daviess County.

“If there are clientele changes, we have every anticipation of getting back into Daviess County within the next year or two,” said Mrs. Cooksey.
