Funeral services for Marjorie Mallory, a native of Pattonsburg, were held Saturday at Bram Funeral Home, Maysville. Burial: Fairport, Mo., Cemetery. Family visitation: 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Fairport Cemetery Association.
Marjorie “Mick”(Hardin) Mallory, 87, St. Joseph, formerly of King City, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2001, at a health-care center in St. Joseph.
Born in Pattonsburg, she was a graduate of Grandview High School in Berlin. Mrs. Mallory lived in Pattonsburg and King City prior to moving to St. Joseph 35 years ago.
A former homemaker, she was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Mallory was a former member of the King City Garden Club and had been a Girl Scout leader.
On June 28, 1941, she married Edgar D. Mallory in Weatherby. He died in 1970.
Mrs. Mallory also was preceded in death by six brothers, Golson, Herbert, Glenn, Jewell, Charles and Chester Hardin; and a sister, Bonnie Sommers.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Armfield, St. Joseph; a brother, Frank Hardin, Savannah; a sister, Bertha Greer, Maysville; and two grandchildren.
