Myrtle Ruth (Brannan) Feurt, 86, Pattonsburg, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001 at an area health care center.
Funeral services for Myrtle Feurt were held at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Roberson Funeral Home in Pattonsburg. Burial was at Civil Bend Christian Cemetery, Pattonsburg. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, 64424.
Myrtle Ruth (Brannan) Feurt, 86, Pattonsburg, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001 at an area health care center.
Mrs. Feurt was born in Cherryvale, Kan. She was a graduate of the Labette Consolidated Community High School in Altamont, Kan. and earned a teaching certificate.
She was a former homemaker and had been a teacher in Altamont, Kan.
On Aug. 1, 1936, she married Cleo G. Feurt in Independence, Kan. He died in 1994.
Mrs. Feurt also was preceded in death by a brother, Robert L. Brannan Jr.; and a sister, Zella Baird.
Survivors include two daughters, Janis A. Hibbs, Clarksdale, and Twila J. Carter, McFall; a son, Cleo D. Feurt, Stanwood, Wash.; seven grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several step great-grandchildren.
