Four persons were arrested for multiple drug violations on Oct. 11 when the Missouri Highway Patrol stopped a stolen Subaru at the Winston Truck Stop. The vehicle had Texas plates. Arrested were Amber Kay Roberts of Livermore, Iowa, Jennifer Long of Wesley, Iowa, Louis L. Mann of Snyder, Texas, and Timothy Berning of Kempner, Texas.
Roberts, 17, was charged with possession of marijuana, Class A misdemeanor, possession of drug paraphernalia, Class A misdemeanor, 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance, Class C felonies, and tampering in the first degree, a Class C felony. Bond was set at $35,000 and was posted on Oct. 15.
Long, 26, was charged with 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance, Class C felonies, tampering in the second degree, Class A misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia, Class A misdemeanor. She was held in Ray County Security Housing. She posted $35,500 bond on October 16.
Mann, 23, was charged with 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance, Class C felonies, and tampering in the second degree, Class A misdemeanor. Bond was set at $35,250. He is being held in Ray County Security Housing.
Berning, 21, was charged with 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance, Class C felonies, and tampering in the first degree, Class C felony. Bond was set at $55,000. He is being held in Ray County Security Housing.
Shane Mathews, 20, of Mattoon, IL, was arrested Oct. 12 for probation violations. He was arrested in Charleston, Ill., and is awaiting extradition by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office. Bond was set at $25,000.
A 35-year-old Gallatin man was arrested Oct. 7 for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge of driving while revoked. He posted $350 bond.
A total of 51 calls were received by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office in the period from Oct. 9-17.
