Funeral services for Georgia Phillips, a former resident of Gallatin, will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Chapel, I-435 and Holmes Road, with visitation one hour before
the service. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Phillips was employed by Sears for 18 years.
She was a member of Eastern Star; Raytown Shrine Club; and Spring Valley Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. “Toots” Phillips; one daughter, Beverly Hauser; and a granddaughter, Valerie Adkins.
Survivors include one son, Gary, Raytown; one daughter, Donna Love, Independence; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
