The Gallatin FFA Chapter recently held its FFA Creed and FFA Knowledge contests for Greenhands. This year’s first year group was among the largest ever. Competition was keen for the right to represent the Chapter at the Area II contest in the spring.

Erin Croy placed first in the Creed Contest. Rachel Peery and Stefanie Dowell tied for second and Klint Kloepping finished in third place. Cassie Carder, Garett Houghton, Emily Gay, Kelsie Parker,

Becky Macy and Joe Davis rounded out the top ten contestants. Ms. Dyke, Mr. Smith and Mr. Ruse served as judges for the event.

In the Knowledge contest Emily Gay placed first with a perfect score. Erin Croy was second and Cassie Carder and Aaron Everly tied for third. The top four individuals will make up the FFA Knowledge Team for this year. The alternate is Kelsie Parker. Others placing in the tope 10 included John Runde, Rachel Peery, Stefanie Dowell, Sean Wood and Klint Kloepping.
