Memorial service for Donald Jones were held Oct. 14 at Town and Country Christian Church, Cameron. Arrangements were by Poland-Thompson Funeral Home of Cameron. The body was cremated. Memorials may be made to his church.

Mr. Jones was born in Gallatin.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Mr. Jones was a member of the Town and Country Christian Church, Cameron; and Masonic Lodge and Odd Fellows Lodge, both of Gallatin.
On July 1, 1960, he married Donna E. King in Adrian. She survives of the home.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.
Other survivors include a son, Gary Thornton, Baytown, Texas; three daughters, Mary Matthews and Judy White, both of Baytown, and Marney Gentry, Cameron; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
