The Class 1A Girls District 13 Softball Tournament will be held Thursday through Saturday at Pattonsburg High School. North Daviess is the #1 seed and defending district champion.
The opening round game at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday pairs #4 Tri-County against #5 Winston. The winner will take on North Daviess at 5 p.m. on Friday. Second-seeded Pattonsburg will square off against #3 Gilman City at 6:30 on Friday in the other semifinal contest. The championship game is slated for 5:30 on Saturday.
The District 13 winner will advance to next Wednesday’s sectional game which will also be played in Pattonsburg. The visiting team will be the winner from District 14, which includes Princeton, Newtown-Harris, Cainsville, Grundy County, Mercer and Ridgeway.
