Graveside Service and Burial for Shirley Sweiger, sister of Virgil Peters of Gallatin, were held Monday at Civil Bend Christian Cemetery, Pattonsburg. Arrangements were by the Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg. Memorials may be made to the Pattonsburg Senior Citizen’s Center or Maysville Senior Citizen’s Center, in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, 64424.

She was born in Weatherby.
She was a retired certified nurse’s aide for Cameron Home Health.
Mrs. Sweiger married Walter C. Sweiger. He preceded her in death in 1983.
Mrs. Sweiger also was preceded in death by four brothers, William, Raymond, Art, and Glenn Peters; and a sister, Kathryn Finch.
Other survivors include a son, Roger L. Sweiger, Fairport; two grandchildren; and a great- grandchild.
