Criminal cases filed: State vs. Douglas P. Sybert, driving while license revoked, Class D felony; State vs. Jayson Huskey, assault first degree, Class B felony;

State vs. Brandon Foose, Count 1 – burglary, 2nd degree, Class C felony, Count 2 – stealing, Class D felony, Count 3 – property damage, first degree, Class D felony;

State vs. William Allen Asher, Count 1 – DWI, Class D felony, Count 2 – driving while license revoked, misdemeanor, Count 3 – failing to signal, misdemeanor.

In State of Missouri vs. Thomas James Everman, heard Sept. 20 by Judge Warren McElwain, the defendant plead guilty to Class D felony non-support. He was sentenced to 5 years in the department of corrections, execution of sentence suspended, and placed on 5 years probation.

In State of Missouri vs. John T. Calhoon, heard Sept. 20 by Judge Daniel Chadwick, the defendant plead guilty to Count 1- driving while revoked, Class D felony, and Count 2 – assault, Class C felony. He was sentenced to three years in the department of corrections for count 1,

to be served concurrently with a DeKalb County sentence, and was given a suspended imposition of sentence on count 2 and placed on 5 years probation.

In State of Missouri vs. Timothy Vernon Bowers, heard Sept. 20 by Judge Daniel Chadwick, the defendant plead guilty to possession of controlled substance. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered.

In State of Missouri vs. Dirk C. Erp, heard by Judge Daniel Chadwick on Sept. 20, the defendant plead guilty to Count 1 – DWI, Class D felony, and was sentenced to three years in the department of corrections, sentence suspended, placed on 5 years probation. On Count 2 – leaving the scene of an accident, he received a suspended imposition of sentence and was placed

on 5 years probation. For Count 3 – C&I, a misdemeanor, he was fined $500.
