Service for Violet Bolinger, sister of Robert Werner of Jamesport will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Rupp Funeral Home in St. Joseph. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rose Hill Cemetery, Ridgeway. Family visitation is from 7 to 9 tonight (Wednesday), at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.

Mrs. Bolinger was born in Shannon City, Iowa. She resided in Ridgeway before moving to St. Joseph 15 years ago.
Mrs. Bolinger retired from the Ridgeway locker plant.
She was of the Methodist faith.
Mrs. Bolinger was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd.
Other survivors include two sons, Richard and Dennis, both of St. Joseph; two daughters, Joyce Ozenberger and Janice Caw, both of St. Joseph; one other brother, William Werner, Luther, Okla.; a sister, Wilma Guess, Bethany; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren
