On Saturday, September 22nd, 2001 the Green Hills Animal Shelter will offer an evening of fun and entertainment at their first annual hog roast. Enjoy listening to the local country band “Charlie’s Angels” while dining on pork roasted from a whole hog, baked potato, green beans, fresh orange spinach salad, home made rolls and dessert. Beverages will include coffee, tea or water.

“Charlie’s Angels” will perform throughout the evening from 5:00 to 8:00 playing many of your favorite down-home country songs.

Guests will have an opportunity to purchase chances to win several different quality items which will be on display, including a Washburn electric guitar. Drawings will be held that evening and you do not need to be present to win. Proceeds from the event will be placed in the Green Hills Animal Shelter building fund.

Tickets cost $10 per person ($5 for children age three and younger) and may be purchased in advance at Citizen’s Bank and Trust, Farmer’s Bank of Northern Missouri, Farmer’s State Bank and Firstar Bank, all in Trenton.

Although advance reservations are recommended you may also purchase your tickets at the door the evening of the dinner.
