Four area children are said to be improving at Children’s Mercy Hospital. Tyler Monroe, 6, remains in traction after breaking his leg in an automobile accident. He is in Room 5401. William Schrock, 9, is in fair condition after a conveyor belt injury. Andrew Gingerich, 3, is in fair condition after being kicked in the head by a horse. Ezra Gingerich, 7, is also in traction after a gate fell on his leg. The children are at Children’s Mercy Hospital, 24th and Gillham Road, Kansas City, 64108-4698.
Emma Dell Melte is a patient at St. Luke’s. She is having angioplasty surgery.
