Reunions

The Perry L. Reed, Sr., family reunion was held on Aug. 12, 2001, at Moberly Park in Trenton. The Reed children present were Lela Reed Carter of Bucklin; Roberta Reed Greenall of Garden Grove, Calif.; Perry L. Reed, Jr. of Gilman City; Clarence Reed of Valparaiso, Ind.; and Ben Reed of Springfield.

A candle was lit in memory of deceased family members and Clarence Reed gave the blessings before a carry-in lunch was served.

Prizes were given to Lela Carter, oldest person present; Natalie Miles and Jared Titus, youngest persons present; Max and Roberta Greenall, for traveling the farthest; Shannon Price, Sara Bennett and Canada Harris, for changing the most; Jim Price, for changing the least; Cody McCloud, closes number of M&M’s in jar; Michelle Ashmore, closest number of macaroni’s in jar; and Willa Dean (Billie) Harris descendants, for family with largest number present.

The day was spent visiting, taking pictures, and participating in games. Game winners were Brian McCloud, Craig McCloud, Jim Francis, William Litton, Nancy Palmer, Shala Moore, Amy Miles, Mark Miles, Douglas Reed, Emily Reed and Jeremy Simmons.
