The City of Gallatin has lifted the precautionary boil order in effect for a small portion of Gallatin. The boil order was issued on Aug. 24 in order to perform repairs to a water main along James Road. Effected residents included those who live along James Road and Mill Street east of Prospect Street.
The results of water samples following the repairs were analyzed at a certified lab and have tested safe for consumption. The City appreciates its customer’s patience and understanding while the repairs were bing completed and while the boil order was in effect.
