Four attend Washington Leadership Conference

On July 23-29, four Gallatin FFA members participated in the Washington Leadership Conference held in Washington, D.C. The four members were Kim Clevenger, Mackenzie Riley, Robert Mazur and Jo Ann Tummons. Members had leadership meetings and toured many sights, including the U.S. Capitol, Library of Congress, Supreme Court, Jefferson, FDR, Lincoln and Iwo Jima Memorials, the Vietnam Wall, Arlington National Cemetery and George Washington’s home. There was a night tour of D.C. and they visited several museums such as the Holocaust, Smithsonian and Fords Theater. They also had a chance to meet Sam Graves and talk with him.
